tDCSの効果【短期記憶・反応速度】

tDCSとは、頭の上から微弱な電気を流して脳を刺激する方法です。

元々は鬱治療などの医療目的で使用されてましたが、学習能力やワーキングメモリが向上するということで注目されているテクノロジー。

アメリカではすでにプロゲーマー向けに発売されていて、日本でもネットで買えたりします。

今回は、そんなtDCSの効果について紹介していきます。

tDCSの効果

2016年のメタ分析によると、tDCSは反応速度の向上(d=-0.11)、実行機能の向上(d=-0.11)などの効果があり、記憶力と注意力には影響がない。1

別の2016年のメタ分析によると、tDCSはワーキングメモリの向上(d=0.18)、反応速度の向上(d=-0.11)などの効果がある。2

また、2020年のメタ分析によると、tDCSはうつを軽減する(d=0.46、p=0.0002)。3

結論:効果はあるけど優先度は低い

まとめると、tDCSは反応速度・ワーキングメモリ・実行機能・メンタルにある程度の効果があります。

ただ機材も高いので余裕のある人だけ試してみるといいかもしれません。
